I'm no fan of fast food myself, but check out this experiment by the Burger Lab. You know the pics floating around of fast food burgers that have been sitting out in the open air for a couple of years or more, and still look the same? I've been wondering about those myself. This experiment looks at homemade burgers as well, to try and ascertain exactly why burgers left out in the open air don't rot. And it's all about moisture, baby! Check it out for yourself...
